“Nothing is permanent but change.” Today, change is more
certain and more rapidly occurring than when first noted by Heraclitus in 500 B. C. The world changes, so must we. Change is inevitable, inexorable
and irresistible. Yet change is viewed by many as a force to be avoided; a single word that evokes a range
of feelings from panic to fear, anxiety to depression.
Our personal lives have flow and drift. A switch in jobs. A physical move. People enter and leave our lives.
All requiring us as friends and lovers to change.
Market conditions shift and company morale lowers requiring us as managers and leaders to change. Has
change led to a loss of focus or purpose in your company? Has your company become mired down in
efforts that curb rather than encourage? Do your executive and managerial staff work at cross-purposes?
How would it be if change evoked feelings of excitement, wonder, motivation and curiosity?
How we react to change is our choice. We can be victims of change or agents of change. We can use
change as a chance for growth or as an excuse to retreat. Change, whether mandated or voluntary, is an
opportunity to benchmark our progress and map a new path.

management are some of the more recent themes and practices of today's positive-change coach.
The positive change coach's role is to help his or her client reframe the negative and keep focused on the positive. The coach helps the individual identify core strengths and future potential while providing objective appraisal and continuing encouragement.
SO, WHO NEEDS A COACH?

Executive Life Coaching is centered on the concept of building value from the inside
out. Using the positive change approach, the client's own unique strengths and passions are the base from which new directions are uncovered and developed. Bill serves as mirror and supporter bringing
perspective and accountability to the client. Bill listens, hears and questions but, ultimately, it is the client who decides and the client who acts.
